social servicesThis program will strengthen and support individuals and families in their area of immediate need. Our aim is to foster independence and personal responsibility; providing opportunities for individuals to achieve their full potential; thereby promoting healthy families and safe communities. Goals are achieved by ensuring quality, cost-effective and comprehensive services are provided in cooperation with our partners

food pantry servicesThe primary purpose of the food pantry is to provide and distribute food for hungry. All locally collected food is to be distributed without charge. The FEC will at times also tap other sources (churches, social groups, etc…) to provide emergency food to individuals and families in critical need, usually a three or four day supply. |
Clothing drive servicesOur mission is to meet the basic clothing needs of the people, and to empower individuals, families, communities, and churches, to change the conditions of oppression in a way that preserves dignity through basic services, education, advocacy, and community development. The program provides new, as well as mildly used clothing, ranging from women's apparel, men, teens and children. |
educational servicesThe Center is responsive to the needs of students and the community by offering educational and career objectives suited to their interests and abilities. FEC staff works to help students achieve personal and professional goals, and provide information relative to a wide range of services and educational opportunities that may be pertinent to their educational objectives. Services include academic counseling, Individual Development Plan (IDP) development, career/vocational counseling, career exploration/assessment, and program planning. |
job placement assistanceThe Job Placement program provides no-cost assistance to job seekers. Providing assistance with resume building, interview techniques and etiquette. Ensure current job listings are posted, to include positions in child development, business, industry, technology, allied health, secretarial, liberal arts, and automotive areas. Information is to be available on full-time, part-time, temporary, permanent and seasonal employment. In providing job search/placement assistance, the FEC abides by Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines. |
